2009

January ‘A Cradle Song’ performed in Ely Cathedral
March Conducts Stapleford Singers in ‘The Music Makers’ by Elgar
April ‘A Prelude to Bach’ performed on the organ of Chester Cathedral
May Completed work on ‘The Martyrdom of Latimer’ for orchestra, commissioned by the Ely Snifonia and to be performed on October 3rd in Ely Cathedral
June Conducting engagements included the 6th June when Adam performed the Maria Theresa mass with the Stapleford Sinfonia and Singers, and 13th June when he conducted the second symphony by Brahms in a programme that also included works by Mendelssohn, Haydn and Delius.

2008

January Appointed as conductor of the Stapleford Sinfonia and Singers.
March First performance of ‘Interludes from Syn’ in Cambridge
April First concert with the Stapleford Singers
June Director ‘Lennox Berkeley & Friends’ festival in Cambridge. Chamber concert includes ‘Sonatina for flute & piano’
August ‘Cradle Song’ performed in Heidelberg
October ‘Syn’ performed in Cambridge
November First performance of ‘Blake’s Drum’ for singer and mixed ensemble (commissioned by the friends of Michaelhouse, Cambridge)
December First performance of ‘To an Evening Star’ (SATB + organ), Cambridge. ‘Festival Overture’ performed in the University Church.

2007

March Founder of the Orchestra of Great St. Mary’s, Cambridge
June First concert by the newly formed Orchestra of Great St. Mary’s in Cambridge.
December ‘A Cradle Song’ performed at Aldeburgh (Snape) and St. Olave’s Church, London. ‘Christmas Evocation’ performed in Cambridge. Release of CD ‘Magnificat’ which includes the ‘Cradle Song’
